The ability to expand is a testament to the need for cultural humility in mental health services. Marginalized groups have been searching for an organization that is inclusive and that can meet their needs, Sheng said, and it’s only been made more apparent during the pandemic.

Us 2 Behavioral Health Care increases access to mental health care in the Fox Cities
The Bright Idea Fund within the Community Foundation recently awarded a $57,600 grant to Us 2 Behavioral Health Care to help hire a therapist to provide culturally responsive counseling to minority groups in the Fox Cities and offer training and consulting to local agencies that also seek to serve minority clients. The nonprofit opened last September in Appleton.
