Brooke Hackel, BS

clinical therapist intern

I believe in meeting individuals where they are at and creating a safe space for exploration and healing. My therapy approach is humanistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I value both the self and the importance of being connected to others, and recognize that those are not always in balance. Together we can figure out how your life experiences have shaped who you are today and set goals that really speak to you. I enjoy bringing laughter and creativity into sessions, and am a believer that you are never too old to play.

My special interest is in helping perinatal clients, whether that's navigating family planning, infertility, pregnancy, or beyond. I have a background in working with families with little ones, so I know just how important it is to nurture those family bonds.

I am also a certified lactation counselor (CLC). I enjoy working with the infant-parent dyad to support your chosen feeding method. As a certified lactation counselor, I can offer breastfeeding troubleshooting and ongoing education, if desired.

In my free time, I enjoy classic introverted activities such as crafting, video games, puzzles, reading, and (most importantly) naps with my two cats – Binx and Nala.
