I believe in the importance of teaching kindness, caring about others, and helping kids do things to make their lives better. When we practice kindness, either towards other people or to ourselves, it makes the community around us a better place. I will provide a safe environment where clients are invited to share their ideas and to take risks. I will assist my clients to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well as embrace the differences of others. I provided individual and group therapy for individuals. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy while incorporating strengths-based and mindfulness approaches. I strive to teach individuals coping skills for their big and small feelings and how to work through those feelings while using their coping tools.
I work with children ages 5 and older in the school setting and specialize in emotional regulation, anxiety, and depression. I am passionate about helping children and families overcome barriers and thrive. I believe that all children deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential and I am dedicated to helping them achieve their goals.
Outside of work, I love to garden, read, go on long walks, and spend time with my friends and family.
