My goal is to empower others to make their own decisions and change. I currently work with children, adolescents and adults. I enjoy using various therapeutic approaches including feminist, person-centered, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). My counseling approach is from a diverse multicultural perspective, and use different approaches based on the needs of the client. As the counselor, I am here to support you in your journey towards growth and change and will work collaboratively with you. I will give you the space you need to achieve the change you want. You are the expert, I will be there to support you, validate your experiences, while also challenging you to work towards your goals. I am a first-generation Latina, am bilingual, and am able to provide your sessions in Spanish. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching movies, hiking, and reading books.
