BIOGRAPHY

Jenn Ross, MA, LPC-IT

SCHOOL BASED therapist

She/Her/Hers

Due to a variety of personal and professional experiences, I found myself needing to advocate, provide psychoeducation and therapeutic support while breaking barriers for a more all-inclusive community. I have an integrative approach focusing on being client-centered in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma informed care, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. I hope to bring a unique blend of nursing expertise and therapeutic skills to practice by providing a more comprehensive and empathic care experience for all clients.

I currently work with adolescents by supporting their journey through the identity process, navigating the challenges of self-discovery and development, interpersonal relationships, and substance use by building on their strengths and values. It is important to me to provide adolescents and young adults with positive and effective coping and communication skills as they navigate through this stage of life.

On my free time, I enjoy traveling and cruising the Caribbean, spending time with my family, and being adventurous! I also enjoy running and being physically fit.
